1 month or 1 year?Thin layer of fat over my stomach?
Your cardio and workout routine will be plenty. Those last ounces of flesh hiding your muscles are fat and water. The ripped look bodybuilders get comes at the expense of (sometimes dangerous) dehydration and starvation. That's why so many of them pass out at competition.

Look into the diet part of your lifestyle, and see if you can flush sodium out of your system, and drink lots of water, so that your body stops retaining it. Work the diet so that you have energy to burn fat, and live a decent life, without letting very much stay on your waist. If you have a party or something coming up where you just HAVE to have the ripped look, you might do the last-minute starvation thing that the pros do, but be advised, you'll be hungry and pissed off!

With care, you'll see results in 1-2 months.

I've lifted for a lot of years, and have a buddy into the professional end of this stuff.Thin layer of fat over my stomach?
3-4 weeks sound right for noticeable results.
if you follow that it probably wont take long, mabe like a week just to notice some results but probably no more than a month until your satisfied. another good thing to do are planks and crunches while moving your legs ina bycicle like motion. good luck!
if you follow the plan you've outlined, 2-3 weeks.
