Blood vessels and nerves are present in the epidermal layer true or false?

False. The epidermis is just the top few cells, and a keratin layer. Check out this picture:

It shows you that the blood vessels and nerves are in the hypodermis.

Hope that helps

I don't think so. Otherwise it'd hurt more when a person sticks a safety pin through the top layer of their skin on their fingers.Blood vessels and nerves are present in the epidermal layer true or false?
false.

There are three layers of skin.

The first, the epidermis is where your hair follicle finger nails and melanin are. {melanin is a protein that gives the coloring to your skin. }

The second, the dermis has collagen and elastin fibers that help prevent the tearing of skin

The third layer is the subcutaneous layer which manufactures fat and provides insulation. it is unevenly distributed and thins as the body ages.

Blood vessels run through the bottom layer, the subcutaneous layer of skin.
False the blood vessels are located far beneath the skin in the Hypodermis the third layer of the skin
FALSE

The skin has 3 layers: epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous fat.

The epidermis (the first layer) does not contain any blood vessels but gets its oxygen and nutrients from the deeper layers of the skin. The blood vessels and nerves are found in the dermis and in the subcutaneous fat.
