What is the difference between ';stacked'; and ';layered';?

I had an excellent haircut a few years ago and I would like to ask for the same style. The stylist described it at the time as ';stacked';.What is the difference between ';stacked'; and ';layered';?
hum, stacked? never heard that expression for hair, yet. stacked to me still means a compliment of the breasts.. anyways...

layered means big fluffy hair.. layers are good... helps the hair's volume if ya understand.

do you have pictures of your hair? that helps tons.. or find an example online or somewhere..

take it with you and show the stylist.. that is always a great plus, they love visuals.

just telling them stacked or layered only summerizes it to many, many types of hairstyles.

pictures are BEST!

hope you find one that makes a clear example for your stylist.
