Get a thin cake tin and do however many layers you want, let it cool, frost one of the tops, put another layer on it, frost that top and keep repeating. How can i make a layered cake?
Get two pans the same and bake the two pieces seperately, then frost them together...
Bake the cake in two separate pans. When you lightly touch the middle of the cake, and it springs back, it is done, if it leave a indenture, bake it longer. Flip the hot cake out of the pans on a wire rack to cool, if you leave it in the pans, it will stick. After the cake is cool, (make sure it is, or the frosting will melt) look at your cake pieces, you want the cake to be level. Take a serrated butcher knife, and carefully slice the humps off each piece, to make the cake flat. If not comfortable, freeze the cake first, it is the easiest way. These cut pieces will be the center of your cake, the pan set sides will be your top and bottom. Frost the bottom layer first (you could add a thin layer of strawberry jam on top of the frosting for additional taste). Add the top layer evenly on top, frost the sides first, then frost the top. If you want a perfect frosted cake, freeze the cake, take a glass of hot water, and put a flat knife in it, go over the frozen frosting with the hot knife, and it smooths out any imperfections, for that bakery look..Good luck.....
